I am fortunate to have known Simon for three years during which he has been my fantastic personal trainer. Simon always pushes me beyond my comfort zone, and reminds me that anything is possible because it all starts in one’s mind.

He is both my anchor that keeps me going, and my lighthouse that shows me the way.

When I met Simon at Bannatyne’s Healthclub in March 2015, I had been recovering from a rather invasive, reconstructive, internal surgery for ten months, and had been prohibited to do any exercise at all. That day,  when we talked about my pitiful health and fitness status, Simon appeared to me like an angel descended from heavens, sent to pick me up and put all my pieces together.

His holistic personal training programme, scientific based, measurable and safest up-to-date training techniques, contributed to tackle all my health issues:

• Reversing osteopenia-osteoporosis, and sarcopenia.

• Overcoming anxiety, depression, astenia and insomnia.

And developed my fitness potential:

• Becoming fitter, stronger and more athletic than I had ever imagined

• Particularly, abs to die for.

Is osteoporosis (very low bone density) and sarcopenia (the loss of skeletal muscle mass and strength as a result of ageing) really irreversible?

Whilst it is a common belief that as we all grow old, our muscles and bones inevitably disintegrate gradually, I personally have successfully reversed both afflictions, contrary to medicine belief, and even challenged conventional drug treatment in spite of some doctors. Hi Would you like to know how to keep your bones and muscles young forever? Quite simple, specific exercise and diet recommendations hold the key.

Whilst a healthy diet containing alkaline Fruits and vegetables has been proven to reverse bone loss, and exercise to build new bone, as other former  sufferers with bone loss and I have discovered, there is no financial incentive to teach the above message but to prescribe “nasty” old drugs e.g. Aledronic Acid which not only do not treat the real cause, but also causes seriuos side effects such as  fragile, old bones in the long run, and even necrosis of the jaws in some cases.

Moreover, both cardiovascular exercise and weight resistance exercise, and an adequate intake of complete protein can prevent and revert sarcopenia. As for food, particularly beneficial are the aminoacids L-Glutamine and the BCAA, all of which are anticatabolic and somehow anabolic, and can be found naturally in Simon’s food list.

Is medication really the only way to treat anxiety, depression, astenia and insomnia?

I think not. I personally have overcome depression and reduced anxiety dramatically by merely exercising. The awakening effect of adrenaline, the enhanced blood flow, the sudden burst of energy, and the calming effect brought about by exhaustion  work sinergically against these mental ailments. I am quite glad that I declined my GP’s tranquiliser treatment course. I find Simon’s work-outs a natural panacea treatment. After them I am relaxed, happy and confident. Moreover, at night you will want to sink into your bed.

Whoever says that you cannot be much fitter, stronger and athletic than you  wrongly believed?

Through Simon’s expertly devised gradual increases in training you will be pleased to discover  also gradually fitter, stronger and athletic upgrades of yourself. In turn, this will increase your  confidence and desire to be the best version of yourself. So much so that I, for my part, identify myself with Wonder Woman.

Believe me. To every fitness test you will be looking forward.

Are six-packs exclusively reserved to a few privileged people?

As I always say to anyone who enquire about my abs “Anyone can do it”. Again, both exercise and diet combined are they only and right way. Just a devised regular  exercise routine and a few dietary adjustments advised by Simon will endow you with Spartan’s abs. In as short as two months I swear that I at least already had a six pack. What’s more, now we are getting close to a incredible 10 pack abs. Watch out for my progress!
