Personal training client

– Short intro explaining what the blog post will cover.

If you’re looking for a personal trainer who treats his clients as an individual, understands your goals, and genuinely cares for your wellbeing, then look no further, Simon is your man!j

Having struggled with my weight for years, I joined the gym and began to commence my weight loss journey, but with all good things, my journey faced obstacles, challenges and I lost focus.

I first saw Simon with a client on the gym floor whilst I was on a cross trainer. His client seemed to be having a lot of fun, yet they were still training. I wondered “surely this cannot be right” as the perception I had of personal trainers was that they would simply walk around with their ipads, without a care as to whether their client was benefiting from their services or not.

I plucked up the courage and contacted Simon to discuss the options of personal training. I really approached things with an open mind not knowing what to expect. Simon arranged a time which worked best for me, for an initial consultation to establish how he could help me.

From the very first meeting I found Simon very approachable. He listened to my concerns and devised a training plan. We took things in small manageable chunks, firstly targeting my fitness levels, then moving onto strength.

Simon soon developed a training programme for me and provided me with dietary advice and tips. We set a goal and he promised to aid me to achieve it.

Working with Simon felt like I was training at the gym with a friend not a personal trainer. We laughed a lot, we trained a lot and I may have cried a little too.

Simon taught me the importance of building muscle and burning body fat. Like most rookies at the gym, I was simply monitoring my goals by BMI and scales. I used to believe a strict diet meant denying the little pleasures of life such as cake! But when I told Simon I turned down a slice of birthday cake, his response was “why? I would have eaten it” as he taught me the importance of having a balance with everything.

Simon created fun ways for me to train, from boxing to running to building up core strength and muscle mass. The weights room was the one area I avoided as I lacked the confidence to use the weights prior to training with Simon.

The difference in my fitness and physical appearance began to show within a month. Training became enjoyable and not a chore. He even accommodated my training sessions around my work commitments even if it meant having a personal training session at 7am on a Friday!

Simon never let me down, never did he cancel any sessions and even showed up for a 7am session having been delayed from returning back from a holiday abroad, he still ensured he delivered! He understood what the sessions meant to me and my tight goal.

As well as training in the gym, Simon held many client events and fun activities which were mainly free for his clients as a thank you from him.

Simon helped me lose weight and reach my goals in time for my wedding, So much so that he had to attend my big day to be given a special thank you.

If you’re in doubt, or looking for a personal trainer, I would definitely recommend Simon. He genuinely cares for his clients and your interests are paramount for him. He’s very approachable and attentive and explains things in a clear manner.
